Insulation works completed at Brīvības gatve 300

With the support from the European Regional Development Fund, the insulation works for the residential building at Brīvības gatve 300, which commenced in August 2014, have been completed! The project was implemented by the association of apartment owners “Brīvības 300” in cooperation with SIA “Rīgas namu pārvaldnieks”.

The residential building at Brīvības gatve 300, Riga, has three floors with 11 residential properties, one stairway, a basement, and a technical floor. The house was put into operation in 1937.

The aim of the project was to significantly improve the thermal insulation of the house and the comfort level of its occupants.

Works performed within the project:

• Insulation of walls and the passageway
• Insulation of the attic slab
• Insulation of the basement slab
• Replacement of the entrance and vestibule doors
• Replacement of the windows in the stairway and basement
• Replacement of windows in apartments
• Replacement of insulation of hot water and heating pipes.

After these energy efficiency improvement measures, the thermal energy savings are expected to reach 55.22%.
