We urge residents to be cautious of scammers who claim they are visiting apartments on behalf of the property management company to check water meters. The mandatory periodic verification of water meters has been canceled, and SIA “Rīgas namu pārvaldnieks” does not authorize any company to carry out such tasks.
These fraudsters demand cash payments from residents.
Please note: if a service is provided or ordered by SIA “Rīgas namu pārvaldnieks”, clients are never required to pay in cash – all charges are included in the monthly apartment bill.
We strongly advise residents who receive such scam calls not to allow these individuals into their homes under any circumstances.
