Implementation of energy efficiency improvement measures for the apartment building at Dzelzavas iela 90, Riga

 

On 6 January 2022, an agreement was concluded with AS “Attīstības finanšu institūcija ALTUM” on the allocation of EUR 303 130.35 from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) for the implementation of energy efficiency improvement measures for the apartment building at Dzelzavas iela 90, Riga.

The building at Dzelzavas iela 90, Riga, was put into operation in 1979. The 5-floor residential building (standard series “Lietuvietis”) has 45 residential properties. Total area: 2961 sqm; total area of apartments: 2400.30 sqm; total project cost: EUR 625 192.20 including VAT, which comprises the construction work, construction supervision, author supervision, and project management.

Works to be performed within the project:

  • Foundation and base insulation
  • Basement floor insulation
  • Façade insulation / renovation
  • Insulation of the attic
  • Replacement of roofing
  • Replacement of windows in apartments and stairways, replacement of doors
  • Renovation of water supply and sewage system
  • Renovation of the heating system
  • Cleaning of the ducts of the building’s ventilation system

The construction was commenced on 28 January 2022, and it is expected to be carried out during the construction season of 2022. According to the construction contract concluded on 4 January 2022 with SIA “TRIGONE BŪVE”, the construction period is 39 weeks, whereas the total construction costs amount to EUR 587 118.51, including VAT.

The energy efficiency improvement measures will provide:

  • Heat energy savings of 61.26 kWh/m2 per year
  • Greenhouse gas reductions of 38.50 CO2 eq.T/year
