On 2 February 2021, the owners of the apartments at Pētersalas iela 2, Riga, made a joint decision on participation of the building at Pētersalas iela 2, Riga, in the tender “Riga City Municipality Co- financing for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage in 2021” and authorised SIA “Rīgas namu pārvaldnieks” to draw up and submit documents on behalf of the owners, in accordance with the tender rules.
The building at Pētersalas iela 2, Riga, was built in the early 20th century as a five-floor masonry apartment building with a store.
The building is located in the protection zone of the UNESCO World Heritage Site No. 852 “Historical Centre of Riga”. Although the building itself is not listed as an architectural monument, it is nevertheless considered to be significant for cultural heritage, as its architecturally rich façades have been preserved without significant alterations.
Works performed within the project: simplified renovation of the building’s entrance area, entrance area façade and balconies.
Project implemented: from 10.05.2021 to 20.10.2021.
The total project costs comprising the construction work, construction supervision, author supervision, and project management – EUR 12 753, including VAT.
Co-financing from Riga City Municipality – EUR 4 038.
