The State Audit Office Invites Apartment Owners to Participate in a Survey on Building Energy Efficiency Improvements

Siltināta māja, renovācijas process, valsts 2025-06-04

The State Audit Office is inviting owners of apartments in multi-apartment buildings in Latvia (3 or more apartments) to participate in a survey about their experience, understanding, and needs related to building renovation and energy efficiency improvements.

“In this performance audit, we aim to gain a comprehensive understanding of apartment owners’ needs and challenges regarding building energy efficiency improvements. Only by examining the real situation can we develop concrete and effective recommendations to improve existing support programs and promote sustainable building renovation,” explains the State Audit Office’s Communications Department.

The survey is open electronically until June 30, and completing it will take approximately 10 minutes. All information provided will be used only in aggregated form.

The survey is a key part of the State Audit Office’s performance audit titled “Do investments in heat supply and building energy efficiency improvements ensure sustainable and economically sound heat supply?” The audit evaluates the effectiveness of existing support mechanisms and identifies key obstacles to promoting building renovation.
