The apartment building at Ļermontova iela 8, is a three-floor building with 12 residential properties. The building was put into operation in 1963 and has not undergone major renovations since.
The aim of the project is to significantly improve the thermal insulation of the building and to increase the comfort level of its occupants. The project is necessary given that the thermal insulation of the building structures does not meet the modern energy efficiency requirements, incl. LBN 002-01, resulting in high heat energy consumption during the heating season, which is costly for its residents, as well as produces excessive emissions of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.

The implementation of the above-mentioned measures according to the energy audit report can result in heat energy savings of about 45.1%.
The total project costs are EUR 88 175, of which the planned ERDF co-financing is EUR 36 838, and financing from the apartment owners is EUR 51 337. The cost of implementing the project is EUR 149.79 per 1m² of managed area. Of which apartment owners will have to pay EUR 87.21/m² but EUR 62.58/m² will be covered by ERDF co-financing.
