SIA “Rīgas namu pārvaldnieks” offers its clients a special opportunity – to install an electric vehicle charging station at no cost and earn up to 10,000 euros for the needs of the building!

By leasing land next to your home for the charging station, your building will gain:

• Two electric charging stations built free of charge, available to all residents and the public.
• Income from the land lease agreement of up to 10,000 euros. The specific amount depends on the location and vehicle traffic – the higher the traffic, the greater the payment.
• An increase in property value.
• A cleaner environment – the availability of charging options makes electric vehicle usage more convenient and popular, resulting in fewer emissions in the air.

Which buildings can apply?

Any building that has space for parking cars in its yard or on the street can apply to have a charging station built, provided that two of these spaces can be allocated for the station.

How to apply for the construction of a charging station?

1. Fill out the application form here.
2. We will contact leading industry companies to assess the options for your building and prepare an offer.
3. We will present the offers received for your building and organize a vote among the apartment owners. A “YES” vote for the charging station installation requires approval from 50% +1 of the apartment owners.
4. We will assist in signing a tripartite land lease agreement between the building, the property manager, and the service provider for a period of 15 to 20 years.
5. The charging station will be constructed near the building within a year and a half from the signing of the contract.

How can the building use the earnings from the land lease?

The building can receive payments from the charging station builder in one of two ways:

• As a one-time deposit into the reserve fund.
• As regular small payments throughout the contract’s duration for each vehicle charging. The more cars that use the charging station, the higher the payment the building will receive.

The funds received can be used for any necessary improvements, such as stairwell repairs, vertical pipe replacements, elevators, or anything else important for the building.

What do charging stations look like?

Currently, five suppliers, including Elektrum, Ignitis, and other leading industry companies, offer charging stations to clients of SIA “Rīgas namu pārvaldnieks.”

Each charging station varies, but all are compact and visually appealing. If there are new lighting poles next to the building, a model that is integrated into the lighting pole may also be available.
