Implementation of energy efficiency improvement measures for the apartment building at Murjāņu iela 68, Riga

The residential building at Murjāņu iela 68, Riga, has 5 floors with 55 apartments and it was put into operation in 1972.

On 18.12.2018, the association “Murjāņu 68” concluded a grant agreement with AS “Attīstības finanšu institūcija Altum”.

Total project costs are EUR 691 959.70 (applicable costs).

Altum grant: EUR 345 979.84

Project is financed by AS “Swedbank”. Project implemented in 2019.

Contractor – SIA “Ductus”, Author supervisor – SIA “RI Pārvaldnieks”, Construction supervisor – SIA “Būviecere”,

Project management – SIA “Rīgas namu pārvaldnieks”.

According to the energy audit, the renovation project and possible energy efficiency measures will result in heat energy savings of around 60%.

Works performed within the project:

• External wall insulation, ventilated façade
• Replacement of windows in apartments (as needed) and common areas, and replacement of doors in common areas
• Insulation of the basement and attic slab
• Renovation of heating system, installation of individual meters
• Renovation of the water and sewage systems
• Foundation and base insulation, curb construction
• Reconstruction of basement electrical installations
• Repairs of the stairway
• Restoration of entrance awnings
