Starting from November 21, AS “RĪGAS SILTUMS” will carry out the annual coloring of the heat exchangers in the Riga district heating networks with a colorant that is safe for health and the environment, in order to monitor the density of the heating network and heating supply system.
The added colorant is dissolved in technical water and circulates only within the AS “RĪGAS SILTUMS” heating networks. The addition of colorant to the heat exchangers does not affect the supply of thermal energy in Riga and is not harmful to health. Thanks to the colored water, it is possible to quickly detect damage to the heating networks.
